Description of the problem	I was driving in a residential area and attempted to stop and i couldn't. The brakes started making a grinding noise and the e-brake light came on. It slowed down enough for me to pull to the side and finally able to make a complete stop. I put it in park checked the e-brake and it wasn't on and put back into drive when the vehicle was in a slow roll i checked the brakes and it did the same thing. I put it in park turned it off and called mt husband. When turned he turned it back on the e-brake light was off and the brakes worked.
