| Description of the problem | On 10/21/2010 the right rear brake caliper fell off of our 2005 nissan armada during vehicle operation. Dealer inspected and stated caliper bolts were "missing" and my wife "had someone watching over her" and was lucky to not have sustained any injuries. Vehicle has had no recent service to rear wheels or brakes. Vehicle has approx. 77,000 miles. Dealership has no explanation for incident other than vehicle being "tampered with" and tried to use theft of catalytic converters as an example. |
