Description of the problem	The instrument panel fuel gauge is inaccurately displaying that the vehicle still has some fuel, between half and one quarter tank, when the fuel tank is empty. This has cause the vehicle to run out of gas and stall on the highway, causing a dangerous safety situation. The dealer diagnosed the issue and needs to replace the fuel sender unit inside the fuel tank together with the o-ring.
