Description of the problem	I purchased this car for my wife to drive her and our three children. Something was going on making the car stall when pressing the gas and sometimes accelerate. The rpm would go all the way up even when taking foot off the gas pedal. I took the car to the nissan dealership in newark delaware and they kept it for a week. I believe they said they had to repair something on the transmission. Whatever was wrong they covered it under warranty. After a week we got the car back and my wife drove to new jersey to visit family with the kids about 45 minutes away. While coming back on the delaware memorial bridge the car rpm rose all the way up making the car accelerate behind another car almost ramming the back of another car. Shaken from what just happened she drove slow and careful the rest of the way home about 10 minute drive from the bridge. I tried to check it out myself because we just got it back after a week so it should not be having anymore trouble but the car then would not start. The battery died from trying to start it. After all that we did a voluntary surrender due to the car not being safe. She felt if she and the kids got back in it she would just be asking for something bad to happen. It only had about 39000 miles so should not be having problems with it.
