| Description of the problem | This vehicle was purchased new from anderson nissan - lake havasu city, az and we also purchased the extended warranty (up to 60,000 miles). At approximately 64,000 miles the transmission broke down completely. When this was towed to the originating dealership, we specifically asked if there were any "known transmission issues" with this vehicle make/model/year. We were only told "this can sometimes happen". We have since learned that there has been a class action suit against nissan for this specific issue. Anderson-nissan charged us $3700 to repair the transmission and is not accepting any responsibility or replying to any emails as to their lack of transparency regarding transmission issues. |
