Description of the problem	2015 altima has incurred two separate water leak issues within two months. First, diagnosed as clogged ac drain. This required complete replacement of carpet. This was repaired under warranty. Second, diagnosed as faulty firewall grommet on steering assembly. This allowed excessive amounts of rainwater to flood driver side carpet and under dash electrical while driving. Nissan claims is not a warranty-able failure due to "nature" being source of water which flooded through firewall. Dealer states this has been a common occurrence on 2013-2017 altimas nissan also does not see how failure of firewall grommet (s) could lead to vehicles sinking faster in the event of a water crash.
