| Description of the problem | The right rear control arm broke on my vehicle without warning. I was unable to control the car. Fortunately, i was only on a 30 mph road at the time. If i had been driving on the freeway, i most likely would have been seriously injured or possibly killed. There was a recall/replacement program in canada for this type of issue on the 2014 nissan altima, but nothing in the u. S. The repair cost me $730 due to having to drop the rear suspension in order to replace this part which made the job labor intensive. I feel that this type of issue should also be covered in the u. S. |
