Description of the problem	While backing out of my driveway, i notice the steering wheel was stiff. I could not steer the car properly. I had to keep a tight grip on the steering wheel while exiting onto the street. I put the car in park turning the steering wheel in various directions, the stiffness in the steering wheel could be felt with each turning of the wheel. While driving and preparing to stop, the steering while would almost lock causing the car to drift. I applied the brake and held tightly on the steering wheel.
