Description of the problem	The passenger tie rod became disconnected at the point where the inner and outer were bolted together. Because i was stranded on the side of the road at 2:00 am saturday morning i needed to have the vehicle towed to a repair shop. The owner was surprised that i was needing replacement on a 2014. After inspecting the vehicle he found that the bolt was not secured and bolted all the way down. Both sides need replacement although i can only afford to fix one side now. He did explain it was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced asap. He believed it came this way from the manufacturer, because tie rods last much longer than 3-4 years. I was driving on a city street making a left hand u turn at about 5 milled an hour when my car came to a stop. Thought my transmission went out. Got out at looked at my front tire that was turned to the left and could see the tie rod separated.
