The contact stated that there was an abnormal noise progressing from the rear brakes, which worsened when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact had to apply force to the brake pedal to ensure that the vehicle came to a complete stop. The dealer completed a multi-point inspection, oil change, resurfaced the rotors, and replaced the rear brake pads. The failure recurred six months later.
