Description of the problem	Purchased a brand new nissan altima 2014. The second day of ownership, at 8 miles, noticed a clunking/thumping sound as braking to full stop. This radiates underneath the vehicle and occurs a majority of the time when coming to a full stop. Also there is a strong gas sloshing sound from driver side rear. This happens when tank is half full to full. Returned to dealership the first time the first week of ownership and the department did not admit hearing the sounds until it was test driven with the owner. Returned two more times to the dealership with an nissan engineer looking at it after many phone calls to nissan. The sounds were heard by the engineer. Engineer stated that he would try to pack around the gas tank to reduce the noise. He did nothing. We also test drove two other 2014 altimas and a 2013 altima and they all had the same noises! The car was ready by noon with nothing corrected. We have grave concerns with the braking system and gas tank. What is the immediate and long term effects of this clunking/thumping sound etc.
