Description of the problem	Last week (july 19, 2018) my family was on a trip back from nyc to ithaca. When we arrived in the ithaca area and stopped the car at a red light, the engine shut off. We were able to push the engine button again to restart the car. So, i thought it was not a big deal. Two days later, the engine turned off at a red light on the road and it did not move. Cars behind me kept honking and my daughter cried in horror. The engine was ignited when i push the engine button and the shift is in park. But as soon as i put it in drive, the engine shut off again. Then i had to put it in park, pushed the engine button, it was turned on. When i put it back to drive, the engine shut off. I did not know what to do. After several attempts for a few minutes, i was able to keep the engine alive in drive and drove the car, and parked the car in front of the dealership. I barely managed to do that. The dealership says i need a new transmission. I realized that i am not the only one.
