Description of the problemReceived the nhtsa campaign number: 16v244000 update for ocs error on passenger airbag. I had submitted a complaint regarding this after nissan's previous update did not fix the issue. This issue is still not resolved. After 2 months of use i am seeing that when my wife is in the passenger seat the airbag light notifying me that there is no passenger in the passenger seat stays on still. I can 'reset' by turning the vehicle off and restarting it but can not be positive that the vehicle is actually 'seeing' the passenger. This seems to be a very big issue with nissan and would like to have it resolved. I have not talked with them since when i do the answer i've previously gotten is "we've completed the update and don't know why it's not working for you" bring it in and we'll look - to no avail. So i prefer not to let them play around since resetting the computer does nothing.
