Description of the problem	While entering onto interstate 64 in hampton, virginia i noticed fire coming up from the console between the gear shift and the arm rest. There were no warnings. The vehicle was completely destroyed. Fire investigation report states that is was a mechanical failure. Nissan company has been notified and a case number provided. They have stated they will investigate.
