Description of the problem	After work on 1/16/2021, i was driving down the thruway, all of a sudden the car felt like it was on the ice, however, there was none on the road. I had no control of the steering of my car, the back end was sliding and the stirring wheel was turned all the way to the right but the front part of the car was not turning. I could not pull over due to being on a bridge and no control of the steering. I did let off the gas and cost downhill the best i could, luckily the car drifted to the side of the road. I was frozen with fear, the state police came and we call a tow truck. When my car was on the bed of the truck the driver pointed to the back of the car said " wow it snaped". He then explained to me the rear control arm was broken. Later the mechanic told me this should not have happened. As of 1/20/2021,xd the car is being worked on and i have not heard any update to what has happend asside from the snapped rear control arm.
