| Description of the problem | Luckily driving about 20 miles per hour when heard a thud from the rear. Lost some control with steering, luckily blocks from home and was able to drive home. When looked under vehicle saw a broken metal piece hanging and rear driver side tire was not straight and i could not see the top of the tire in the wheel well. Had to have it towed to dealer and they confirmed, rear lower control arm broke. I normally drive on the freeway home from work, luckily, i chose not to this day. It sounds like a known issue, especially in states where salt is used on winter roads. We live in wisconsin. |
