Description of the problem	During safety inspection, the passenger side rear control arm was discovered to be cracked. The wheel was about to fall off the car. Pictures (attached) show severe corrosion around the weld seams and knuckle crevices. I kept the parts for further inspection. Noted that there is an open investigation with nhtsa in regards to this failure.
