Description of the problem	In a matter of 13 months, the rear drivers side lower control arm failed and then later the rear passenger side lower control arm failed. The metal cracked and completely came apart where it is bolted to the car. Both times it failed in my driveway. One time it failed when the car was in motion pulling into the driveway, the other time it failed when shifting from park to reverse when trying to pull out of the garage. The car could not be driven after they failed. A letter is going in the mail this week to nissan consumer affairs and i am mailing a copy to the nhtsa in washington, dc.
