Description of the problem	While driving down the road, the hood of the vehicle popped open, slamming the hood on the cab of the car obstructing the view. When the hood hit the cab it pushed the compartment, that holds sunglasses out and hit me in the head. The hood was securely latched before driving! That day i drove to work, back home and then to the store. It was when i was heading back home from the store that my hood latch failed therefore slamming it onto the cab and obstructing my view of the road. Luckily i was able to see under the hood to drive off the busy highway. I live in north ga there are plenty of places on that road where i could have drove off the road there are no guard railings!
