| Description of the problem | Headlights are extremely dim to the point of providing no light when driving at night. It is necessary to always use high beams. Nissan dealer completed full diagnosis and determined both complete headlight housings need to be replaced at a cost of over $1100 to correct the problem. This seems totally ridiculous for a vehicle that is less than 4 years old. The bulbs are working fine however the round bubble lens cover in front of the bulb appears to have become cloudy restricting light from passing through it and projecting it on the road. We have seen online on several websites numerous complaints regarding this highly dangerous safety issue and nissan has told their customers there is nothing they can do for them. This happens all the time when driving at night. |
