Description of the problem	The passenger airbag light turns off (light switches on) even when a passenger is in the carseat. The problem was consistent around 1. 5 years back and there was a nissan recall that resolved the problem after 2 attempts. By consistent, i mean the air bag was definitely switched off regardless of whether a passenger is present or not. Now the problem is back although the light does not turn off consistently. Sometimes the light is off and sometimes it is on. I wrote to nissan about this. Unfortunately, my car just went off warranty and the diagnosis itself is $161.
