Description of the problem	I went to start my car to go to work and the ignition locked and the car would not start. Needless to say i was late for work because of this incident and had to rely on someone else for a ride. I called the dealer ship and they explained to me that the steering lock probably failed on the car. I had to have the car towed to bowser. I got a called today confirming it was steering lock failure and that it would cost almost a thousand dollars to fix. I did some research and found that this is a common problem with the car. I asked the dealer ship if they have had many other cars with this problem and they explained that they have. As i continued to do more research, i found that this is an engineering flaw on nissan's behalf. I do not believe i should have to pay for an engineering flaw that should have been a recall in the first place.
