| Description of the problem | Traveling on a ca freeway the transmission suddenly loses power due to transmission overheating and had to pull over on the side until it cooled down. The car had 85,000 miles and was covered under warranty and so a new transmission was installed. 2 years and 60,000 miles later while on the freeway, the transmission completely fails putting the driver in danger of trying to pull to the side of the freeway. The transmission was completely destroyed and no longer covered under warranty. |
