| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2008 nissan altima. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact noticed that the dashboard was melted and continued to melt at a rapid pace. The contact also noticed a sticky substance emitting from the dashboard. As a result, there was a glare and the visibility obstructed the contact's vision. There was also a chemical being released and inhaled by the contact. The dealer stated that they could not assist. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that nothing could be done. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
