Description of the problem	Purchased car new in july 2008, and have since noticed that my passenger air bag light will indicate that the air bag is "off" when i have passengers in the front passenger seat. Light will also indicate that the air bag is "off" when there is nothing in the seat. Not a consistent problem, have seen the light indicate that the air bag is "on" when there is only a small bag or books on the seat. Took to dealer where purchased, they said my airbag is functioning properly.
