| Description of the problem | 2007 nissan altima, rear sway bar broke just inside of the passenger side mounting bracket. Rust was the ultimate condition which led to failure, but defect in the original part must have been present for corrosion to begin. Light highway and city conditions. Car never overloaded or abused. Replaced with new sway bar at owners expense and labor. I have kept the old part for reference if a recall were to take place in the future. |
