Description of the problem	On 12/13/2008 at 9:00 a. M. My 24 year old daughter entered her 2007 nissan altima and was going x-mas shopping. The entrance to the expressway is less then one quarter mile. She entered the expressway and changed lanes to the far left. Approximately one mile of driving on the expressway her steering wheel locked and she was unable to navigate the steering. She started to brake and as she was attempting to navigate and slow her vehicle on the expressway, the steering wheel started to spin causing her to crash into the median wall. No injuries, no other vehicles damaged but her vehicle had extensive damage to the front grill ,fenders and bumper. This is the first time the steering wheel locked.
