Description of the problem	My car would not start consistently. I have a 2007 nissan altima with push button start. You have to engage the brake for the start button to work (and have itelli key). The brake light was not registering regularly, so you could start your car and drive somewhere and be stuck. I am lucky i have an honest mechanic who figured out it was the brake safety switch under the pedal and replaced it to resolve the issue. When nissan was notified they confirmed they have sold that part very often. I would think this part should not be one that stops working so easily and is a recall/manufacturing issue.
