Description of the problem | The steering lock selenoid went out leaving the car completely inoperable. I was told by other z car owners that i was lucky that this happened when the car was parked and not while i was driving it. Good god - i drive on i 75 to work and cannot imagine losing steering without warning. I contacted nissan north america and they could not have been less help if they tried. I was actually told by the nissan dealership to contact nissan north america to file a complaint. Apparently this is a known problem on the 2010 nissan 370z and they will not recall it or fix it when it occurs individually. Very frightening. I am furious that they can get away with this. |
