Description of the problem	Engine used approximately 3/4 quart of oil in first 700 miles. Continues to consume in excess of 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles. Nissan has done numerous (4) consumption tests. Vehicle failed all tests. Vehicle now has 8,700 miles after 5 years and i am in a protracted battle with nissan. They have been aware of this problem since 2008 and issued tsbs in 2010 but continued to try and hide behind the problem. There are numerous posting on the web for like problems with the 370 engine, including the nissan 370z and the infiniti g37.
