Description of the problem	While driving in traffic along a uphill i engaged the clutch pedal to shift into 2nd gear when the clutch pedal did not disengage as i let off my foot. Instead, the vehicle automatically revved itself up to 6500 rpm while rolling back. As the clutch pedal was stuck there was an absurd amount of burning odor, smelled like the clutch was being burned. I had to immediately turn the car off, luckily the car behind me had enough time to move out of the way. Almost crashed because of this and was unable to drive it from that point on.
