Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2007 nissan 350z. While driving between 20-25 mph, the engine revved and the rpms increased to 4,000 when the vehicle came to a stop. The clutch pedal extended to the floor when it was depressed. The contact smelled a burning odor outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and they stated that the vehicle was operating properly because the failures could not be duplicated. The failures recurred on a separate occasion. The vin was unable to be entered into the system. The failure mileage was 20,000 and current mileage was 21,000. Updated 07/17/09 bf the consumer stated starting from a complete stop, revved to 4,500 rpm let out the clutch, and the pedal remained stuck to the floor. Then there was a burning smell.
