| Description of the problem | The car was driving normally and gave no signs to any type of pending failure. The 2007 350z model year has some form of clutch deficiency. The clutch sometimes drops to the floor requiring it to be pumped up but can lead to stalling the engine or being stranded in traffic. My problem caused me to be stranded on the road in traffic until the clutch regained pressure and let me drive on. The problem is that after the initial failure the clutch randomly seems to lose pressure and causes it to be very difficult to shift into gear without slipping. The dealer claimed that they couldn't reproduce the problem and also claimed that there was no previous history of a problem although there are numerous documented cases of the problem. |
