| Description of the problem | 2004 350z has 11600 miles and tire roar has become very loud. Roar began near 10,000 miles and has gotten progressively worse. I have had the tires balanced at 10,000 miles in hopes of easing the situation - no relief. Notified by discount tire mechanic that the inside edges of the front tires were showing considerable wear. Called local nissan dealership and talked with maintenance & service dept. Was told that i would need to pay $90 + tax for an alignment and $28 + tax to flip the front tires. Also notified that i would probably need to repeat this every 10,000 miles and buy new tires every 20,000 miles. This seems to be a major flaw with the 2004 350z and has not been corrected from the 2003 model. |
