| Description of the problem | While traveling home from church, my car suddenly shut down with no warning. I was in traffic and able to pull off with no power at all. When i stopped and put it in park, the car would not allow you to take it out. It would not crank even after replacing the battery. I found out the next day that i had a blown passenger side tail light. This caused my car to cut off and ford stated that this is what happens. This is a very dangerous wiring issue. Apparently, the tail lights are connected to the main system and if one goes out it shuts the car off and activates the theft protection system. This needs to be looked at. If i would have been on the express way, the issue could have become serious. It was still a serious issue. Thank you. |
