| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 mercury montego. The contact stated the vehicle would intermittently jerk when driving at any speed. Also the vehicle would not respond when the accelerator pedal was engaged. The failures recurred intermittently whenever the vehicle was warmed up. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was told the transmission valve body needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
