| Description of the problem | I was driving on the interstate when the car suddenly stopped accelerating. A wrench appeared on the dashboard. I had to brake to a stop along the side of the interstate. I restarted the car and it seemed to work fine. This was wednesday. The same thing happened again on friday and then again on monday. At that point i took it to the ford service center. They had to replace the throttle body, costing me over $430. Additionally, had any of the roads been busier or had no places to pull over, an accident easily could have occurred. |
