| Description of the problem | Car lost power while driving. Yellow wrench light came on and car continued to idle roughly. Shutting car of and restarting would reset everything, but if continue to drive the same thing happened. No speed or rpm increase happened when stepping on the gas. Had to tow car to ford dealer as i couldn't drive it. Mechanic stated throttle body had gone bad and had to be replaced. They never told me that ford was having an issue with this part. Cost me $460 to have this replaced. Low mileage and newer car this should not have happened. Could have had a terrible accident if i had been driving down the free way at rush hour as i live in a metropolitan area. *js |
