| Description of the problem | I was driving on a highspeed road when suddenly there was nothing happening when i pressed the gas. A small wrench came on the dash. The owner's manual said throttle/transmission problem. Had we been in the passing lane we probably would have been rear-ended and killed! As it was, i was able to coast over to the shoulder of the road and eventually pull into a parking lot. I turned off the car, waited a few minutes and turned it back on. I was able to drive about 5 miles before the same thing happened again. I left the car in a parking lot. I have only owned the car for 29 days! I feel this is a definite safety hazard and should be looked into. |
