Description of the problem	Wrench icon appears and engine rpm drops and vehicle slows while unable to accelerate. Engine surges at idle slightly below 1,000 rpm. If vehicle is shutoff and then restarted it will operate for an unpredictable time/distance. Very dangerous to drive due to unpredictability. Vehicle has been driven approximately 140 miles since first shutoff and has shut off numerous time since. On 9/27/13 it shutoff four times in 12 miles. Wife is terrified to operate this car. Vehicle will remain parked because of potential life-threatening safety hazard. Hopefully a recall for this will occur.
