Description of the problem	While at highway speed using cruise control on a slight upgrade, engine suddenly lost power and returned to idle and wrench warning light illuminated. After stopping, it was noted that engine was still running at idle but there was no throttle control. After ignition was shut off for a few minutes, vehicle was restarted and throttle control was found to be normal. Dealer diagnosed likely problem as throttle body, which would be covered under drivetrain warranty but ford subsequently advised it was not covered. Further, owner was advised part was on indefinite nation-wide back-order with no known availability date but that vehicle was drivable in the meantime with the risk that problem could recur with increasing frequency.
