Description of the problem	I was driving down the interstate a couple of weekends ago and all of a sudden my cruise control shut off and i had no throttle response. I pulled over and the engine sputtered very badly. After turning the engine on and off, i made it to my destination. When i was coming back on sunday, this preceded to happen two more times to me. Once when i was in the middle lane of a heavy traffic location. I couldn't accelerate or do anything besides break and avoid an accident, which was very close. I am lucky that no one got hurt but it became very evident that there was something wrong with the throttle in this car. After researching it more, i starting reading some of these same complaints, and the ford mechanic i took it to even said this isn't the first or even the second time he has heard of this failing on the 2010 milan. He claimed that was due to the electronic throttle bottle and believed it was from a defective unit on most units (good to know the problem except it wasn't covered under warranty, not recalled, and cost me $500). After hearing this, there is no way that this can not be recalled and fixed on every milan that has this same unit with the same serial number. I don't know if any accidents have occurred directly from this problem but i was close to one that definitely would have cost some people some lives. I am sure if this is a defective unit it will definitely cause one soon.
