Description of the problem	While accelerating, the car began to jerk violently and came to a stop, and shut off. The car was unable to run or idle. It was towed to a ford dealership where they diagnosed a failed throttle body and it was replaced. I was on a residential road so no injuries, had i been on the highway, things would have been different.
