| Description of the problem | First incident car killed twice at stop signs. Since then it has stalled at least 7 times, the last time on the freeway at 65 miles per hour during rush hour. It was only with the help of two highway helpers who blocked lanes on the freeway was i able to exit safely. Had the car towed to the ford dealership, they ran a diagnostic and no codes were found. They were unable to identify and fix the problem so suggested just taking the car and see if it happens again. In other words, even though the car has stalled at least 7 times, take it out on the freeway again and hope for the best. I advised ford that was not acceptable and referenced the nhtsa action number pe13003. I have requested they replace the electronic throttle body as the car is not safe to drive. |
