Description of the problem	When driving at any speed and unexpectedly, the car loses power and there is no warning this is going to happen. I was thankfully on an fm road when car lost power - has happened daily and this time grandkids in the car. However, am a senior citizen and have to think quickly to get off the road - this time there was no shoulder and had to poke to a turn and drift down - i have read this has been reported to ford and they say the car still has power enough to get safely off the road and not a risk??? Surely they are kidding me - this is a huge risk and i bought this vehicle in august 2013 and it if oct and has been happening for awhile - i do not think i should pay for a repair after reading how many mercurys are affected obviously with the same exact problem - the safety risk is getting rear-ended because when it happens traffic is right behind you
