| Description of the problem | "takata recall" in july 2016, i received a recall notification from ford advising that the air bag inflators were defective. I just received another letter from ford dated december 2017 advising that it was unsafe for anyone to occupy the front passenger seat until the recall revision is complete. I find this to be totally unacceptable as this is our only family car. I suggest that the ford motor company furnish replacement cars with working air bags to those of us affected, at their expense until the passenger air bag in my car is repaired. Since we are now being advised that a front passenger involved in a front end collision could be fatally injured, we have lost the safe use of our car. Please investigate this matter as soon as possible. Please see warning on december 2017 recall letter. |
