Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 mercury milan. The contact stated that while her son was driving at 40 mph, another vehicle rapidly cut in front and suddenly slowed down. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to engage promptly. As a result, the contacts son crashed into the rear of the vehicle in front. There were no injuries sustained. The failure occurred intermittently. The vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 19v904000 (service brake hydraulic) but no parts were available. Two unknown dealers were called who confirmed parts were not available for the recall. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that no parts for the recall would be available until sometime in the third quarter. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000.
