| Description of the problem | The vehicle was in motion and beginning to turn left. While the brake pedal was being applied, the abs activated and the car did not immediately slow, but slowed with additional pressure on the brake pedal several feet from where it should have slowed before continuing into the left turn. Since the incident, the brake pedal is not as firm when the brakes are applied. Brake pedal is spongy to the touch. The ability to stop precisely at a particular point while driving has been severely diminished and the braking distance has been increased. I believe investigation ea18-002 describes the problem that i experienced while driving the 2009 mercury milan. |
