Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2008 mercury milan. The contact stated that the daughter was driving at approximately 35 mph and the brakes malfunctioned when depressing the brake pedal causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a guard rail. During the crash no injuries were reported. No police report was taken and the vehicle was not towed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (lithia ford located at 501 mary jane wood circle, morgantown, wv 2650) who was unable to duplicate the failure and no service was performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure.
