Description of the problem	When my vehicle was in motion on a highway i applied the brakes to slow down the anti-lock brakes system engaged due to the road conditions. This causes the brake pedal to have to be depressed much further to stop the car due to decreased braking power. This condition of decreased braking power can last several days or weeks before returning to normal until the next time there is an abs deployment and then the reduced braking returns again.
